Okay not in the literal or even virtual sense of the word. It’s Wednesday. Officially referred to humpday here in the uk. We’re over the hump towards the weekend. It was really supposed to start winding down after the Summer ended (which feels like some time in mid June weather wise anyway) but if anything it’s been relentless. Last week out with the team in London after the previous night out with Sales. Next weekend up to London again for a play with Jennifer Saunders (interestingly that one had terrible reviews) and then next Tuesday I’m on the 2.45am ferry over to Ireland. Fingers crossed there are no delays as it’s the first time I’ll be travelling with Benson post Brexit and the paperwork is quite a chore. Think happy thoughts and of course happy humpday!

I’m sick and tired of Spotify and their greedy practices. I paired my account with Alexa so every time when I am out walking and someone in the house asks Alexa to play something it cuts out what I’m listening to. And I have the family plan for up to five users. They are downright greedy. So I’ve cancelled.  This was their pathetic effort to come across as non-corporate greedy money grabbing cock wombles.

Made worse by this son of a bitch Summer we’ve just had to endure. Seriously I would say that’s been the worse Summer for almost a decade. Luckily we didn’t get that one last year or there would have been all hell to pay. Anyway there you have it. We are in October now and boy is it delivering on its promise. Been pissing down all weekend. I was up in big fancy London on Friday night with the team. Far too many beers and one humongous hangover later and here we are… Sunday morning and I don’t want to get out of bed. Pffftttttt

After a couple of heavy weekends I decided to take a lateral flow just to be sure I’m not one of those asymptomatic carriers.  I’d forgotten just how uncomfortable it was scraping the rod against your tonsils and spinning it around inside what feels like your cranium.  Anyway after a tense 30mins, only because I was watching the cube and that always stressing me out, I’m happy to see one line at the C position.
