I gave up favebook and Instagram to get over my addiction to likes. Guess what…. It hasn’t worked. Now i send a whatsapp message and keep checking for the lol reply…. For the love of jesus what’s wrong with the world (and me).
A day in the life of an allotmenteer.
It may be small but it’s perfectly formed. I may be 6 weeks behind the curve but I’ll get there. Plis my allotment neighbour gave me some plants for the site today. Awesome!

- runner beans

- rhubarb

- gooseberries
if I manage to get one meal out of it I will be surprised 🤣🤣
Carry on camping
They said it’s going to be the year of the staycation and I admit for me it has been. I’ve had two camping trips already this year and I’m off to Wales next week for a 5might extravaganza.

I kid you not. I’ve just driven for 90mins to a campsite leaving very wet and cold Reading behind for the weekend. When i got here i took out my big 8man tent and started putting it together only to have ALL the poles snap due to old age. Jesus Christ on his bicycle of love how fortuitous that i brought a second two man tent as backup. I must had had one of them there premonitions…. BURN THE HERETIC 😡

Weekend bbq
How else does one top off a wonderful weekend than a barbq hosted by the wonderful Alistair and Bianca. Plenty of alcohol and more chipolatas than you can wobble a fat belly at. Superb!
