In today’s walk Benson retrieved:

An oak lead

A number of seeds in varying state of decay

Multiple twigs and brambles

An uncoiled spring (my personal highlight)

And a cubic meter of sand/mud

Good gawd it’s hot here. Left the UK and it was 3degrees, land into Dubai and it’s already 23degrees at 9am. I’m not complaining though. 🥵

There’s no place for them IMHO. Of course I’m not talking about a toddler running a global conglomerate… more babies in business class. I really don’t understand why people want to book a human scream bomb into the one section of the plane where people pay a lot of money so they can get some sleep. Atop of that they fell it’s totally appropriate to walk the screaming baby around the cabin in an attempt to calm it down. Day flights I can just about get with but business babies on night flights is a hard no from me.

I’m off to Frankfurt tomorrow for a customer summit. The German sales manager asked me to present on a topic I’ve not presented before so I’ve been working on a talk track for the slides. I’m not going to lie, it’s been a tough nut to crack. Spent all last week writing stuff down and trying to stitch it into something presentable with no success. Had a lightbulb moment on Sunday. My boss gave me some feedback a few years ago. It’s all about the story. If you know what story you want to tell you can present on anything as long as you stick to the story. Very wise words. Stress levels reduced and ready to go.
