I love my Mr Grumpy mug. It suits me to a T. Whenever I’m having an angry stomp around the office it calls out to me and I settle down with a nice cup of Earl Grey. Perfect for calming those nerves.

I bet the last concern on the ill-fated titanic passengers mind in the weeks leading up to the sailing was that they might receive a telegram announcing that their sailing had been cancelled. But for the modern day traveller it’s a regular occurrence. So much so that I actually get anxious the closer I get to any journey. Sailings on the Irish Sea are notoriously bad, especially when it comes to winter storms but at least that’s an act of god in a way.
British Airways on the other hand routinely book people onto flights they know will never depart. So every time I make a booking I’m on edge that I’ll receive a seat change email (which means new flight). And that’s exactly what happened this week for not one but two flights.
