First epic fail of my allotment life. Planted out my tomatoes broccoli cauliflower and cucumber that I’d grown from seedlings. Took just 24hours for the local rodent community to decimate the lot 😂😂. Lesson learned. Protect new plants with overturned bottles or netting. Oh well onwards and upwards as they say ….

It’s that special time of the year when the forest transforms. The clocks change and as if by miracle the buds pop and what was previously dull and lifeless springs back to a vivid green. It will take about a week to complete the transformation to fully covered forest again.

Yes it might be cold enough to freeze a witches tit but it’s officially spring and the office doors WILL remain open for the next three months. It’s the same premise used by middle aged men driving convertible cars
Jesus Christ on his bicycle of love ❤️ It’s worse than the US and North Korea here at the moment. A true battle of he said she said. The EU threatening to block shipment of AZ vaccine out of the block and UK threatening to block shipping the ingredients needed to make the pfeizer biontech vaccine into the block. I guess the crux of this is the EU views any company with a factory running within their region as their property that are controlled by the EU themselves. That’s where they have it wrong. The manufacturers are an independent business who honour contracts as they came in. The EU does not seem to get that simple premise. Hmmmmm get the popcorn on, it’s going to be a long night. 😀😀

I’m not going to lie. I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing here. I’ve never ever grown a single plant from a seed and now I’m aiming to get a vegetable patch up and running. So let’s see how things run with phase one of my plan. Yesterday I started with some seed planting for plants that will work in the propagator.
i would say as it stands there’s a 76% chance of complete failure. Fingers crossed.

We’ve got a patient in the house. Fever running high, aches and pains. Luckily Nurse Raggiddy ass is on call 24×7… available to administer doses of Netflix and Now TV. Thanks nursey
Twenty four hours after the vaccination and I’m still alive. I managed to make my way to Lidl this morning to get some croissants so I assume that means all is well. Will continue to report back on progress as it happens.
