I’m still working through the process of migration from google to apple. Some would say I’m going from one evil to another but I’ll be the judge of that.
I discovered one weird behaviour on chrome book today. Since I changed my google password and subsequently logged into the chrome book it deleted all of my local files because I could not remember the old password. Shocking to say the least.
Never In the history of Danielkind has that phrase been uttered with such a lack of enthusiasm. I’m desperate for something, anything to do that is not being stuck in the house. It’s still a little too cold outside to get on the bike. I am a pure fair weather cyclist. Fingers and toes crossed for a good roadmap out of this on Monday.
Who doesn’t love a little bit of food porn every now and then [well except for my friend Paul who apparently despises it]….. Todays offering is a seeded bloomer with pastrami, emmental, mustard mayo, sliced gerkins & saur kraut. Sweet baby jesus it was a true lunchtime treat!
Or should I say Spamanot. It’s no secret that I have been migrating all of my services away from google. That includes changing a lot of logins and at the same time culling the services that are not critical. I plan to reregister for the ones that I will use in the future where there is no need to retain historical purchase information.
One pleasant side effect of that is a massive decrease in the amount of spam email hitting my inbox. With the services where I changed the email address login info I also changed my mail preferences.
In the past 24hrs I have only received one unsolicited email. I immediately clicked the unsubscribe link at the end of the mail. Since then all has been quiet on the digital front. It feels like I’m on a real digital retreat.
Who knows. When the town centres reopen I might start shopping local again 😀
I actually cancelled my Noom subscription last month. But that is not to say that I will not stick to the principles. If you want to lose weight you have to reduce your calorie intake – it really is as simple as that. Anyway I’m back on my Lidl fat free Vanilla yougurt with blueberries, raspberries, & almonds for breakfast. Not only is it good for you, it’s also damn tasty!
