I kid you not

This is what I wake up to most mornings. Me sandwiched to the side of the bed with Lord Benson stretched out, legs akimbo, enjoying the fruits of his labour. Pffftttttt

Beside myself

I can hardly contain my excitement. For today Reading&Leeds festival have announced that they intend to go ahead this year…

Cue frantic rush to ticketmaster for the purchase of tickets. Oh no, not I, for I bought my tickets last month.

Time to start planning some outfits!

Another early rise

Not sure if it’s the sheer excitement about being free from all the madness in just 4 short months … that in itself is a shock. I’m sure it’s some form of Stockholm syndrome where you feel happy about news that’s still pretty shocking. Anyway back to the point. I’ve been wide awake since 4am again….

Bojo quotes

The crocus of hope is popping it’s head out of the frost… 😅😅😅

We’re travelling on a one-way road to freedom… 🤣🤣🤣

it seems like much longer but in reality we have only been locked down for just over two months now. Bizarrely the papers are stating just over a month. Perhaps more spin from the ministry of misinformation. Anyway regardless it seems like a lifetime. Maybe because this time around we’ve not had Mirek here it dragged out more. Well today’s the day we all get to listen to the governments big exit strategy. Reading the leaks online it sounds like it’s going to be the anticipated damp squid 🦑

  • Schools back by March 8 (not bothered)
  • Two households can meet outside by March 29 (whoop dee doo)

We are moving away from following the science to being data-driven. Well that really depends on who’s gathering the data. Most likely some cronies of Bojo or Handjob.

pass me the Brandy!

The perfect woodland track

So as you make your way through your woodland walk why not crack out your spotify app and scan this track.  It’s the perfect track to take you from path to clearing.  Watch out for this one showing up on a Tragic Diva production at some point in the not to distant future.

On the list for this weekend

  • Get down to the allotment and finish preparing the beds
  • Start planning my seed planting schedule
  • Buy a new tent for my Summer camping weekends
  • Service my road bike

I found a good article on servicing the bike here

https://roadcyclinguk.com/how-to/maintenance/ten-steps-to-service-your-bike-for-summer.html

also clean the garage out. I think it’s time to move the Fouton back upstairs.

While I’m thinking of it!

My Galaxy-S20 had a finger print scanner embedded in the front screen. It was ever so technically advanced I was awfully impressed. There was however one minor issue. It failed to read my finger print almost every time resulting in many frustrated utterings as I had to tap in my six digit passcode. My new iPhone on the other hand can unlock the phone with facial recognition even when I’m sitting in a pitch black room at night. That’s all!

The impending anti-climax

0AA8FAB1-8826-402E-804B-BA17431848AB

Monday is going to be a special day. The country is on edge. The excitement in anticipation of what’s to come with bojos announcement on the roadmap out of lockdown is palpable.  Alas I fear this will be more of a fizzle than a bang. Get ready to be deflated.  There will be no big gesture. Shops will not be packed to the rafters with bargain hunting hoards. No need to get that sequin dress out of the wardrobe just yet Sharon.  Britain… prepare yourself for it is time to be seriously underwhelmed!
