I thought it would be boring without the crowds but Tokyo managed to keep things interesting. Well with the exception of two events. The opening and closing ceremonies. Talk about a complete snooze fest. Seriously I don’t think they could have done worse if they’d planned it that way.

The fruits (and veggies) of my labour
The allotment has finally started to provide some produce for the table. Alongside the weekly rhubarb crop it’s now offering up green beans, spinach, and blackberries.
The carrots are coming along nicely as well.
I should have enough for a veggie soup by Christmas 🤣
