Another one bites the dust…

So Glastonbury have announced that this year’s festival has been cancelled. I shudder to think what the music industry will be like by the end of the year. They will all be on their knees. One thing for sure is I’m going to buy my Reading tickets this weekend. Being at the end of the summer it might be the one festival that actually manages to go ahead.

Snowbombing remain suspiciously quiet although it’s just over two and half months to the expected start date. If they do the same as last year and wait until the last minute to cancel I’ll be done with them.

Boris said on the news that lockdown could last to spring… That’s the end of march… Drug dealers are released earlier.

For now I shall enjoy a home made coffee

Finally managed to upload a pic from my phone…

Believe it or not that’s quite a milestone in moving away from using big social media. The more I think about the monumental task ahead the more I’m looking forward to it. Taking back control of my data is a 2021 priority.

The aftermath of Christoph

There was a mega dump overnight. The dog walking field is totally flooded.

A new day dawns for the world…

I don’t want to be overly political on this blog but it would be remiss of me to not mention the historic day we face with Donald Trump finally removing his greasy finger from the keyboard of world power. I watch his departing speech with some incredulity as he continues to gaslight his followers. From the suggestion that the economic improvements of the past 4 years will never be matched, to suggesting that the vaccine development was down to the success of his administration, to even claiming that the massive recent gains in the stock-market were down to him [and not a result of his being unceremoniously booted out of the White-house after one disastrous term].

Good riddance. May your downfall be swift and bankruptcy permanent.

The calm after the storm

A new day dawns after Storm Christoph. Luckily we avoided the bulk of it here in Reading.

Thoughts on a post

Another day another horror. It’s a new dawn and I have absolutely no idea what I want to make of this Blog but I’ve paid for a years hosting so I can own the data myself. Let’s see how that works out and I hopefully will not sound like a broken record by the end of the year.

Please please please – if I start to get too political call me out. I want this to be all about dogs and sitting around in a puddle of my own piss at 6am with a banana painted on my forehead.
