Another day, another brunch. You just can’t have enough of them don’t you know. So yes we spent another afternoon getting sizzled and sozzled with our SB buddies atop the mountain. This time at a Bongos Bingo session. So much fun. More appropriately dressed this time too 🤪
We came, we saw, we got plonkered. Absolute shambles of a day atop the ahorn. Freezing my little nips off in nowt but a tee shirt and dress shirt. Not for the faint hearted I can tell ya. Once again fairy gawdmother Heather to the rescue with her thermal. Also managed to blah a fur coat for part of the day. This is the way!
Oh what a beautiful day stunning bluebird on day 1 of the snowbombing experience. Alas it was not to continue and we spent the rest of the week wishing we’d packed that second pair of long johns.

Probably the addition of the Elizabeth line meaning you can get on a train in central london and travel all the way to Reading mainline. Or that we have a massive film studio complex in Shinfield where they are recording the latest Star Wars spin off. It’s all systems go in the Ding!!!
It’s going to be one of those Summers. Rain rain rain. We had a downpour of biblical proportions on Friday. Don’t hold out much hope of things improving or for a decent summer here.
