Things I learned from Disneys Obi Wan Kenobi
- In space no one is capable of chasing and catching a 3yr old toddler.
- If you get stabbed straight through with a light saber it is 100% survivable.
- If you work for the Empire you are totally incapable of firing a shot on target.
- If Ben wasn’t such a pussy we’d never have had to deal with all the Death Star crap.
There is so much more but I need to un-Disneyfy my brain to think about it.
We’re at it again
Finally Gillian has joined the 12C club and it was heralded in with much aplomb. A fabulous night of fun and laughter with a fair mix of singalonga schnenagins. Roll on October where we’ll all go hiking in the Camino. But there will be less fancy outfits on that one me thinks.

Yes ladies and gentlemens this is what happens to your favourite doggo when you walk the ass off of him for 3hours. Completely hosed. Bless him. Little does he know … tomorrow’s gonna be worse 🤣🤣

Just because I’m sitting in middle of a field doesn’t mean I have to eat like a peasant… it’s the full English all the way here. Got to fill the belly before I get on the wellies. Happy days 🤣

Back on the trail
Another year and the sky is clear. Just me and my Benny boo doing the do. Traipsing around the Devon trails. Soaking rays and wagging tails.

It’s a framer
On yesterdays morning walk in Littleton the mist was crossing the lake at just the right time to capture this little beauty.
It’s the perfect juxtaposition of crisp reality with mystical other-worldliness. As the girls say, it’s a framer. Almost gives off an Early morning by the Nile vibe.

And so it begins. We hit the slopes early ( well not as early as I would have liked but still not terrible) to get the best of the fresh powder. Ran through some glorious blues and reds.
Having a glorious morning with plenty of blue sky helped in the endeavour. Good visibility makes skiing a lot easier for sure.
As usual the Mountain stage delivered the goods with great drinks and music. The racquet club was pants with way too much drum n bass. Arena not terrible but it was basically two guys dressed up as daft as punk playing a tape 🤣🤣
How’s that for a lunchtime view.
