Well that’s that then
I’m sure the blood curdling scream could be heard from Tadley. This morning I was having a morning riddle when I discovered a lengthy grey pube protruding from my bush. T’was a moment of shock followed by some plans to get myself down to the mobility scooter shop in Shinfield. Life goes on but for me the departure lounge nears.

Jesus Christ on his bicycle of love you’d think the world was about to end with all the hype about the Harry & Meghan interview with Oprah. We’re in the throes of the worst global pandemic in over a hundred years and all the media cares about is whether they’ll reveal the secret inner workings of the royal family. Well shock horror, they didn’t. Some minor exceptions being that an unnamed royal was worried about their first babies potential skin colour (who would have thought), no one gave Meghan the support she needed (stop press) and the British press are a pack of baying wolves …. I could have given that interview for a fraction of the price.
Nigel Farage
Is once again stepping down from political life and the world still doesn’t give a fuck. That weasel of a man only crawls out from under his stone every time he realises how unimportant he is. We don’t care mate. Jog on you Kermit the frog impersonating irrelevant piece of cow shit.

The big easy
So tomorrow will see the return of schools to a normal pattern of attendance. I’m sure there will be a lot of parents up and down the country breathing a huge sigh of relief. For me it signals (hopefully) the start of the end of the lockdown restrictions we have been under for the past few months. I’m not going to lie it has been difficult and there’s no expectation that this will be a miraculous return to normally overnight. But if we can maintain the downward trend of infection rates and get back to normal life that will be a good thing.
What a week
It’s been quite an epic week. Feels like I’ve spent more time in front of the screen this week than any other over the course of the lockdown. I actually have a perpetual headache. Roll on the weekend.

Lidl impulse purchase of the month…
okay so obvs this was a February impulse buy but I have to admit we’ve never looked back. It’s been pancakes for breakfast lunch and dinner since this bad boy arrived home. Even got us back on the waffles … thanks gawd for Lidl 😍😍
