There’s two things that I do every time I get to San Francisco …. One is to climb the Buena Vista hill at the top of Market. The other is head to SFMOMA to see the Rothko and all the other fabulous art. So here I am at the top of the world. Loving and living life to the full.

Preparation for the big Camino hike has begun. I’m not one for last minute packing. Hell no! So I got all my stuff together on Wednesday and laid it out in preparation to make sure nothing is missed.
It’s quite the selection.
8 tee shirts
2 pairs of trousers
1 pair of walking shorts
1 fleece
2 long sleeved tops
8 pairs of undies
3 pairs of walking socks
6 pairs of normal socks
Pyjamas
1 hiking towel
Sun cream
Toiletries
Camelbak hydration backpack
BOSE quiet comfort headphones
Kimble e-reader
So now that I have the selection of clothes ready to go I have to get them all shoe horned into this 25ltr backpack.
I’m not going to lie it was a bit of a squeeze but in the end I got all of it in.
All that’s left to do is to check in for the flights and then we’re off on the 9th. Buen Camino 🤣

Moss is the worst. One good thing though is the recent drought dried it out so it’s easier to brush out of the block paving. When I say easier I mean just the 5hours to do one half of the driveway. I’ll finish it off today and hopefully be done for the next 3yrs.
