Step 1 - Get out at the crack of dawn

Myself and Diane had an epic walk around Bramshill on Friday morning. We discovered some new tracks along the way. The woods are amazing as you can discover so many new routes through each section on an almost weekly basis.

Step 2 - See it = Snap it

The great thing about Bramshill is there are so many dog walkers there you are guaranteed to meet someone willing to let the dogs have a run around [and of course the obligatory arse sniff] 🤧 Benson loves it there - although we are still working on the horses. He doesn't react anymore but bless his little heart his legs are always shaking when they trot past 😃

Step 3 - You can never have enough dog pics

We've done about 20km of walking this weekend - and it being the last weekend in February I was quite shocked with the weather we have had. Granted it is probably 'fake-spring' and next month we will be back to the torrential downpours.... but for the purposes of this weekend I have to say it's been outstanding

Step 4 - You can never have enough dog pics

Walking along the paths in Bramshill or Eversley Common, along with the old airport runways at Blackbush have been great with the added bonus of not having to clean dirty dog feet upon returning home.

Step 5 - If there's water - snap it!

Now don't get me wrong - it's no tropical paradise outside. You still fell the cold in the shade but it has been warm enough for me to have to get the hat off once we hit the sunny spots.... once the shade kicks in it's time to cover my baldy head again. I do feel like an old man sometimes.... who am I kidding? I am an old man : 👴👨

Step 6 - Did I mention that you can never have enough dog pics?

Anyway so is Benson. He's the equivelant of a 50year old now in dog years so we are perfectly matched. With that said he does kick back a lot more than he used to. I wonder if he's hanging behind me because he's keeping watch at the rear or because he is hoping that I'll take the hint and let him get back to the house so he can terrorise the neighbours.

Step 7 - Dogs make everything look good

Regardless it's been an excellent weekend of walking and general outdoor activity. I even managed to get some work done on the the allotment. Thought there would be a lot of unwanted growth with the recent sunlight but the beds are all looking good for now [let's see how long that lasts]..

Step 8 - The woods are the place to be when the rain stops

Bottom line is when you have a change to get out of the house and into the great outdoors, no matter how short you plan on doing it for you definitiely should go for it.

Step 9 - Dogs rock!! The end

I'm not going to lie...this picture totally melts my heart. I love ❤️ this little dog so much. He is everything to me xx.
